Hi friends,
Today marks 6 months until my books, Same, is released into the world!
First and foremost, THANK YOU ALL for your support thus far.
For cheering me on, telling your friends, pre-ordering the book months before its release. I feel your support every day and I cannot thank you enough.
I’ll have some fun things to share over the next few months, but for now I wanted to offer something I wrote when trying to envision the impact I hope my book will have. It’s what I want people to feel when they read Same.
I want Same to feel like the best kind
of dinner party.
You are invited and kind of know the host,
you’ve met her a few times. You might be hesitant,
not sure what the night will bring. You get there and
are immediately welcomed in. You are given snacks,
a drink, a perfect chair to sit and talk. The spot feels
like it was made just for you. Dinner is served and
conversations flow. Throughout the evening, you feel
like you are gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation
for yourself. Things you felt worried were only true for you,
as it turns out, are true for so many other people.
Your insecurities aren’t just yours. Others put into words
how you feel about the people you love most in your life.
They put into words the way you are working on your
relationship with yourself. When you talk, no one looks away.
They look at you, right at you. Same, they say.
You leave and want to come back again.
You’ll bring friends along next time.
Just wait, you tell them, you are going to love it here.

If you haven’t already….
Please consider pre-ordering the book for yourself and a friend!
Pre-orders are SO very important for a book’s potential success. All pre-sales count toward the first week of sales for the book and that determines a lot of things (like how many books retailers will stock, etc. etc.) You can pre-order the book from the links listed here OR from your local bookstore (anywhere, really, where books are sold!)
You can also:
Request the book from your local bookstore and/or your local library– I’ve learned that the best way for a new author to get on the radar of local bookstores and libraries is for their communities to reach out.
Add it to your Goodreads “want to read” shelf.
Hugs and thank you for being part of my journey.
Hannah
Preordered! And so excited for you!
I can't wait! So excited for you!
