Two poems on June this week. The first one is new (I started this series in April and am having so much fun with it- I can’t wait to write one for each month) and the second one I wrote a few years ago.
“Then I talk to a friend who’s all heart, who’s all summer and June.” Love this! The description of flowers reminds me of a small wildflower I saw growing off the edge of Niagara Falls. She was so small, so breakable, compared to the crushing water. But it’s unexpectedness made it all the more beautiful
